Fact: Fluoride Occurs Naturally

Myth: Water Fluoridation is Banned in Europe

Despite common misconceptions, water fluoridation is not currently banned in any country around the world. There are, however, countries that choose to use salt fluoridation as an alternative.

Fact: Fluoride is Essential for Strong and Healthy Teeth

Fluoride helps mineralize and strengthen the enamel, the outer layer of the teeth that is responsible for protecting the more vulnerable layers of tooth structure beneath.

Myth: Fluoride Causes Cancer

A link between the use of fluoride and cancer has never been found; fluoride is completely safe to use!

Fact: Most Toothpastes Contain Fluoride
